As we kick off 2025-2026 with our school-wide theme, “Create Your Masterpiece,” we’re thrilled to announce a major expansion of our arts education program.
At iLEAD Agua Dulce, we’ve always valued arts learning, and thanks to a new partnership with The Music Center and funding from Proposition 28, this year we will provide direct instruction in a variety of visual and performing arts. Every learner will participate in a rotating “arts wheel” that includes digital art, dance, theatre, music, and visual arts.
What Your Learner Can Expect
The new arts program, which begins on September 2, is designed to be equitable and accessible for all learners, from Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Elementary school learners will start the year with dance, then rotate through theatre, visual art, and music.
- Middle school learners will explore a variety of disciplines, including drawing, painting, dance, digital arts, and drama.
- High school independent study learners will have the chance to dive deeper with courses like History of Rock and History of Hip-Hop and contribute their skills to a community mural project.
We believe that every learner has a creative spark waiting to be ignited. This program will give your learner the chance to discover new talents and express themselves in meaningful ways. Through hands-on experiences, they’ll create original works, participate in performances, and showcase their projects.
Whether your learner discovers a love for painting, performs on stage for the first time, or learns the basics of a new dance style, our goal is to provide every learner with a chance to shine and create their own masterpiece.
If you have any questions about our new arts program, please feel free to reach out! We are so excited for a year full of creativity and self-expression.
