May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At iLEAD Agua Dulce, we believe that nurturing the whole child means prioritizing mental well-being just as much as academics. Through social-emotional learning (SEL), one of the three pillars of our methodology (in addition to individualized and project-based learning), we empower our learners to build the resilience, self-awareness, and empathy they need to succeed in school and in life. Supporting mental health isn’t just an addition to our curriculum; it is one of the foundations of it. Below we’ve provided mental health resources that are available to you and your family.
