A Message from the Director

iLEAD Agua Dulce Director Lisa Latimer with learners

Dear iLEAD Agua Dulce families,

We hope you will join us on September 24 for our first monthly Parent University! This month we are diving deeper into our two PBLs: project-based learning and play-based learning. We will be giving out some great information that will help you understand our program better.

Project-based learning brings forth a sense of curiosity, which ignites the imagination and sparks inspiration. Each year our very first project has the same universal theme that is scaffolded for each grade. This week we are launching our first project! The overarching question is “How can we spread the joy of toys?” Each grade level will be looking at it through a different lens, with their own driving questions. Once the project is launched, you will receive a detailed design guide with the driving question and specific information regarding the project.

Don’t forget our first fundraiser of the year! When you order Chipotle for takeout this Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM using the flyer here, you’ll benefit iLEAD Agua Dulce!

We hope you have a wonderful week!

With gratitude,

Lisa Latimer
School Director
