On Friday, December 13, Sonia Kurfess’s 5th graders had a stellar encounter with Dr. Marcel Llopis, Deputy Section Manager for Flight Software and Avionics Systems at JPL/NASA! Dr. Llopis shared his expertise on current space exploration projects, including the incredible Space Launch System (SLS) that’s set to launch to Mars in 2030!
