Monday message 09.27.2021
Director’s Message
This week we want to celebrate how our learners embraced autonomy as they took leadership in the preparation and delivery of their Individualized Learning Plans to our families. We loved seeing what lights our learners up, their reflective process highlighting their “Grows and Glows”, and determining where they would like to be by the end of the semester.
Our learners used a mixed method approach by reviewing the quantitative data from the MAP scores (Math/ELA/STEM) and qualitative data from their self-assessments of our Learner Outcomes and 8 Habits. The results informed how our learners chose their two academic and one social-emotional goals to focus on. We are excited to see how our learners will follow their action plans as they progress in their goals. A few months from now, we will get another opportunity to see our learners reflect on the achievement of their goals during the Learner Led Conferences (LLC).
