We hope that you have been enjoying the summer and have made many happy memories. We are looking forward to having all of our returning and new learners on campus at iLEAD Agua Dulce (11311 Frascati St, Agua Dulce, CA) on Tuesday, August 12, for the first day of school! Below are a few important dates to mark on your calendar. As always, we are here to support you and your child, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.

9th-12th
Campus Beautification & Classroom Setup Day: Friday, August 8, at 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Join us for an afternoon of community, collaboration, and care as we prepare for a fantastic new school year! This is a wonderful opportunity to spruce up our school grounds, help set up classrooms, and add special touches that make our campus feel welcoming for all learners. All ages welcome—bring the whole family! Please wear comfy clothes and bring any tools or supplies you’d like to contribute (labeled with your name). Email info@ileadaguadulce.org if you plan to attend!
Meet the Facilitator Night: Monday, August 11, at 4:00-6:00 PM
This is an informal evening where learners and families can grab a snack from the food trucks, kick back, relax, and meet our phenomenal staff. This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet new families and for the learners to connect with their classmates prior to the first day of school. We will also have Live Scan services available on site if you’re interested in signing up to volunteer on campus! Please note, the cost of the Live Scan will be your responsibility, but we’re excited to help make the process easy and convenient for you.
First Day of School/Coffee and Muffins in the Village: Tuesday, August 12
School gates will open up at 8:00 AM, with school beginning at 8:45 AM. Parents and caregivers, we welcome you to join us in the garden for some muffins and coffee at 9:00 AM.
School Closed for Labor Day: Monday, September 1
iSUPPORT: Beginning Wednesday, September 3, at 9:00 AM in the Village
We have an amazing community of family volunteers who support our school in many ways. We hope you will attend our iSUPPORT meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. You will gain valuable information on how you can become involved, whether you volunteer in the classroom, assist on field trips, or help with planning on special event committees. iSUPPORT also helps to keep families updated on what is taking place on campus and is a great way to connect with each other. We value our volunteers! We look forward to seeing you there.
On-Campus Volunteer Orientation: Wednesday, September 3, at 9:00 AM
We love teaming up with our families to ensure the success of our learners. There are several areas on campus for our families to help, including in the classrooms as well as on field trips. In order to be a volunteer on campus, you must do the following: be fingerprinted, fill out a TB questionnaire, and attend our Volunteer Orientation. All forms will be handed out on the day of orientation. Volunteer Orientation will follow the iSupport Meeting.
Minimum Day & Back to School Night: Thursday, September 4, at 5:00-7:00 PM
Please mark your calendar for a minimum day on Thursday, September 4. On minimum days, learners are dismissed at the same time they are released on Fridays, 12:30 PM.
That evening, please plan to join us at 5:00-7:00 PM for Back to School Night. This event will help you know what to expect throughout the year, what project-based learning looks like in the classroom, the various types of assessments we use, school culture, and much more. It is a very informative evening where valuable information will be given. We look forward to seeing you there!
