While we focus on gratitude each day, as we approach Thanksgiving, we turn that gratitude into action. Each classroom will focus on ways to show that gratitude by writing letters, collecting items for those who are in need, or doing other acts of service that extend beyond ourselves.
One of those components is understanding that we all have something to share. On Friday, November 22, we are asking our learners to share their family traditions and culture through food. There is so much we can learn from each other through sharing gratitude in ways that are meaningful. Please help your learner by having conversations with them and decide together what they will bring to share. Note: This event is for learners only. We ask that only registered parent/caregiver volunteers attend.
We look forward to learning more about each other and sharing gratitude.
Warmly,
Wendy Maxwell, Director
