iLEAD Agua Dulce learners participated in the Great Shake Out Thursday, October 21st. Many parts of the world are prone to earthquakes and California is a great example. You could be anywhere when an earthquake strikes: at home, at work, at school or even on vacation. It is good to ask learners, as well as their families, to consider whether they are prepared to survive and to recover quickly. Great ShakeOut earthquake drills are an opportunity to practice how to be safer during earthquakes: “Drop, Cover and Hold On.” ShakeOut also has been organized to encourage schools and their communities to update emergency plans and supplies, as well as to secure your space in order to prevent damage and injuries. On behalf of the Great Shakeout and iLEAD Agua Dulce, we would like to share the 7 Steps To Earthquake Safety from the Earthquake Country Alliance.
