Join Us for a Multicultural Feast

It is a tradition at iLEAD Schools to gather together and celebrate our diversity and culture. Please join us on Friday, November 16th, at 11 a.m., for our inaugural Multicultural Feast Celebration! This favorite iLEAD tradition is a wonderful way for all of our families to come together to share a meal, and learn more about other cultures in our school!

We are asking that each family brings in a dish that represents their heritage, culture, or favorite Thanksgiving tradition. Food will be served in the Village (MPR) followed with a picnic setting on our grass field. Please see attached guidelines for food preparation and labeling. The suggested serving size for each dish is enough for 15-20 people. We ask that you bring the food in disposable containers if possible.

In order to accommodate all learners and their families, there will be shifts for serving food. The timeframe for serving the meals is:

  • TK/K – 1st grade: 11 a.m.
  • 2nd grade: 11:20 a.m.
  • 3rd- 6th: 11:35 a.m.

After the learners and families are served, we will all gather outside to enjoy the food and good company.

We would love to have assistance in set up, serving, and cleanup. You child’s facilitator will send home a signup sheet this week.

We are very GRATEFUL for you!
