Dear iLEAD Families,
This month, we’re focusing on a crucial topic for our learners: Digital Citizenship. The state of California observes Digital Citizenship Week from October 13–24, 2025. This annual campaign, led by Common Sense Media, is all about helping our kids develop a healthy, balanced, and positive relationship with technology and media.
The goal is to equip learners with the 21st-century skills they need to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
The theme for this year is Artificial Intelligence (AI). As AI becomes more common in our daily lives, it’s important for families to understand the following:
We want to partner with you to help our learners thrive in a world full of new technology.
For helpful online resources, please visit Common Sense Media’s family resources page.
We are excited to share a fantastic, free training opportunity hosted by the Riverside County Office of Education’s Center for Teacher Innovation. We encourage you to attend!
Thank you for your partnership in fostering responsible and skilled digital citizens!
Warmly,
Your iLEAD Team
