Dear iLEAD Agua Dulce Families,
The first week of school has arrived and we are ready to kick off a fabulous year! We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of our families who came to our School Beautification Day and worked hard to make our campus look amazing! Also, a huge “thank you” to everyone who donated items off of our wish lists! For the next few weeks, our learners will be focusing on building a positive school culture and looking intrinsically at how they can be their best selves. Please check your emails for Weekly Updates and Table Talks from your child’s facilitator.
During the upcoming months, we will have Parent University workshops. These one-hour sessions will provide information to help our families understand our core tenets on a deeper level and allow for any questions regarding our program. Our first Parent University class will be held on Wednesday, September 26th at 9:00 a.m. on the topic of Project-Based Learning. We encourage all of our families to attend this informative meeting, as Project-Based Learning is the heart of our program. Please RSVP to nicole.higdon@ileadaguadulce.org.
Our Meet the Facilitator Night is Monday, August 20th, from 5-6 p.m. We will have sign-up sheets available for sports, 4-H Club, iCREATE After-School Program, and more. This evening is to see the classrooms and meet the facilitators. On Thursday, September 6th from 5-7 p.m., join us for Back to School Night. On this night, you will learn the details of what your child will be doing throughout the school year and the expectations.
We are excited to build a strong school and family community, and I look forward to keeping you updated as we learn and grow.
Sincerely,
Lisa Latimer
