Message from the Director

Dear Families,

There is excitement in the air as we are awaiting many items already ordered with our grant money. Within a couple of weeks, each classroom will have their own 75” Promethean ActivPanel. This will allow our learners to interact with each other and collaborate on projects and utilize during math and reading centers. Please click here to see a video on all of the amazing components the ActivPanel.

In addition, our Exploratorium is in process. The floor plan and designs are complete, and it will take approximately two months to build and a week to install. As the Exploratorium (Smart Lab) has many incredible features, please click here to see some of what it offers. We cannot wait for our learners to have these enriching resources.

Finally, our staff will spend the entire day next weekend at the Outdoor Classroom Project. This valuable conference will give our facilitators a unique opportunity to acquire and enhance skills for developing, cultivating, and sustaining our outdoor learning environment. We will continue to keep you informed of our big news and enhancements! We hope you have a wonderful week!

Warm regards,
Lisa Latimer
