Dear Families, Our learners are loving the outdoor items and have been introduced to the new Exploratorium! We hope you will stop by to see all of the wonderful items. Please remember that State Testing for 3rd-6th grade begins next week through May 31st. Learners are expected to be here each day and on time.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 8th from 6-9 p.m., for our end of the year Jamboree! We will have a live band, delicious food, a silent auction, and celebrate a phenomenal first year. We will send home weekly updates as the date gets closer. Stay tuned!
Dear Families, We are looking for donations of real-world items (not plastic toys) that the learners can use to enhance their imaginations in our outdoor classroom. The items do not need to be new. Additionally, if you have old spices or dried flowers that you are going to throw away, please bring them to us.
We have several learners that have been missing school for various reasons. We cannot express enough that as a Project-Based Learning school, attendance is vital. PBL requires collaboration, discussions, working in cohorts, and researching. In addition, the facilitators confer daily with small groups in the areas of math and reading to ensure that our learners
California students take several mandated statewide tests. These tests provide parents/guardians, teachers, and educators with information about how well students are learning and becoming college and career ready. The test results may be used for local, state, and federal accountability purposes.
