Dear Families,
Five More Years!
Thank you so much to all our learners, families, staff and community members who emailed board members and spoke at the Acton-Agua Dulce Board meetings on behalf of our school. We are so excited to announce that our charter has been renewed for five more years, which means we add 9th grade next year! We have several information nights coming up next month. Please click here for more information.
Remember that this week Cohort A will not meet on Monday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, so there will be an extended day on Friday. TK-2nd grade and 4th grade have MAP assessments this week. Please remember that we are looking for authentic scores so we know exactly where to further challenge your child and where they need extra support. If your child receives your assistance on the assessments, it will make it difficult to truly assess and meet their needs. The assessments do not have any bearing on their overall Reports of Progress. Please let your child’s facilitator know if you need any support, as we are here for you.
Have a wonderful week.
With gratitude,
Lisa Latimer
