Dear Families,
Last Wednesday, we participated in the Great California Shakeout. This was an earthquake drill to practice safety procedures for the staff and learners to ensure the utmost safety. In the event of a real earthquake, parents will need to park in the valet lot and walk up the ramp to pick up their children.Everyone will need to show identification and check in to the marked reunification area where we will bring your child to you. This will help us to alleviate any unnecessary overcrowding and confusion. Children will not be released to anybody who is not on the emergency list, so please make sure that you update it regularly. We encourage you to talk with your child about earthquake safety and your disaster plan for home.
Warm regards,
Lisa Latimer
