A Message from the Director

iLEAD Agua Dulce Director Lisa Latimer with learners

Dear Families,

We know that you have been working hard and it has not always been easy. If you find that you or your child are overwhelmed, please reach out to us for support. Sometimes a simple change can make all of the difference.

Remember that Fall Break is coming up October 12-16. This will be a great time for you and the learners to refresh and “sharpen your saws.” Our facilitators will be in professional development training during Fall Break to enhance our distance learning program.

We hope you will join us on Friday, October 9, at 10:00 AM for our monthly iSUPPORT Meeting. We have some great ideas to stay connected as a community and would love for all our families to give feedback.

Most importantly, we want you to know that we have heard you. We have read the surveys that you completed at the end of last school year. We have changed the times for our Parent Universities and iSUPPORT meetings to ensure that more families could attend, started our year off with a strong and engaging project to help immerse our learners in our distance learning program, and are offering smaller-group conferring for core subjects. We will continue to strengthen our program by reflecting regularly and listening to all of our stakeholders. We truly appreciate all who took the time to give us feedback. We will ensure that we send out more surveys throughout the year.

We wish you a wonderful week!

Lisa Latimer

School Director
