Heelys

Many of our learners are wearing Heelys to school, and we are fine with that. While we want our learners to have fun at recess and lunch, we also have expectations if your child chooses to wear them:

  • Heely wheels must be removed prior to entering the classroom or school building, including the office.
  • Heelys can only be used in the designated Heely areas and not near the school building.
  • Learners will have access to cones to make a Heelys course, but may not “heely” down the bungalow ramps.

We want our learners to be safe and responsible, therefore, these expectations are non-negotiable. Learners who choose to not follow these expectations will not be allowed to wear Heelys for the remainder of the school year.
