Join our after-school drop-in event for all learners and families on Friday, May 3, at 12:30-1:30 PM in High School Room 600.
As part of her Girl Scout Gold Award, iLEAD Agua Dulce learner Sam Diem will be making Tanabata origami sculptures. At this workshop, she will have a mini presentation about Japanese Children’s Day and Summer Festivals, and participants will create origami for the sculpture and to take home. There will also be Japanese candies and snacks!
Please RSVP to stephanie.byrne@ileadaguadulce.org by May 1 with the following:
1. Number of kids
2. Grade level or age of each kid
3. Number of accompanying parents
The Tanabata paper sculptures will be on display at the City of Santa Clarita Celebrate Japan event that Sam is helping to run this summer on August 9! Everyone will be invited to come visit!
