The World is Mud-Luscious and Puddle-Wonderful!

iLEAD Agua Dulce Kids

Ahhhhh… Rain! In California, it comes so few and far between, and we want our learners to enjoy it to the fullest. Letting children play in the rain is not only joyful but has many benefits. It boosts the immune system, builds resilience, gives them the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of different seasons, and engages them in active play. Please be sure to send an extra change of clothes and shoes to keep in your child’s classroom for those special days. This definitely includes our older learners, who love to slide in the mud.

We will always provide the option for learners to stay inside the Village during recess and lunch (MPR) if they choose to not get wet. But, from what the learners said after playing in the rain (and mud) last Thursday, it was the best day EVER!
